Nous avons aussi croisé un lynx;
- Proverbe Finlandais -
3 and a half months of canoeing in Finland in complete autonomy with a drone and a small incursion in Russia which has earned us from being removed from our freedom by Finnish rangers ...
However, we have met so many caring, kind and inquisitive people that we view this trip as a gift of life.
We also crossed a lynx;
Without images of the feline, we wouldn't have said anything !
From mid-May to the end of July we traveled more than 1200 km of canoe and enjoyed a hundred kilometers of portages through national parks, from huge lakes to tiny rivers to mesmerizing marshes.
Until the meeting of a Finnish family that will upset the course of our journey, its purpose and also a little of our life.
The month of August took place around a cabin / sauna at the edge of a lake, which has been lent to us for no time and to which we can return as we wish !
The stranger is our brother; The man who has come a long way is our parent.

Le compte-rendu : Nav 14 - 17 Juin (mise à jour : 12 janv. 2018)
It's on this day that our trajectory is moving east, we want to keep the certainty that we will not be late to recover the other half of the food.
In this direction we are certain to stay ahead of the "food ultimatum" in Oravi, without having to hurry.

When the wind raises the pitch, it's the delirium !
Celestial which shines only by its absence.
When you have less than a minute to read such a panel perfectly ... you accept defeat !
The boats that cross us always send a blow of horn which detonates of sympathy and vapor.
The other delirium ! Like a breath, every paddle stroke is essential. And it can last for hours, it's the effect "brainwashing machine"!
Once under cover, still adrenaline, we know that we will not forget such a crossing.
Pollen break. We have often hallucinated by the thickness of pollen gathering.
Most of the shorelines are difficult to access and we prefer to take short breaks in the canoe rather than risk getting wet, and having to shorten the day. Docking on such a shore is never easy.
Do not forget also ticks and leeches. 4 times during this trip, it was necessary to remove ticks that seemed to appreciate me !
It was by locating the pollen plates that we learned to recognize the quiet corners.
All locks have a zipper !
It seems so simple to make such a picture but with the propulsion of the drone, it's cold in the back !
Opening.
The small locks are difficult to find on the maps and on the GPS, you have to zoom in to discover them.
We take them as surprises and opportunities to pause and images.
Out of time.
We will camp just after crossing the second lock, at the end of the pier.
We have trouble resisting the pleasure of a flat land.
but as long as we are sure we do not bother anyone, there is still fun !
Just behind the tent, a kota open and even further, dry toilets.
The tent re-waterproofed before departure, allows the rain drops to evaporate in the sun.
